Hell on Wheels. Cullen Bohannon was raised by a wealthy southern family, and he inherited his family tobacco farm in Mississippi. However, near the end of the American Civil War and while he was fighting with the Confederate Army, his plantation was destroyed, and his wife and son were killed. Now, he is looking for revenge and he has begun to work at the Union Pacific Railroad.
Thus, Cullen Bohannon lives in the mobile encampment called “Hell on Wheels.” Surveyors, laborers, prostitutes, mercenaries… His smart modals of a Southern gentleman have disappeared and currently, he is realistic, mocking, defiant, tough, mordant, self-confident, and… Sometimes a little (very little) appreciative.
What do you think of Cullen Bohannon? No doubt, he is a hero but a controversial personality too.
Hell of Wheels. Top quotes by Cullen Bohannon (actor Anson Mount):
Realistic: What you suppose the Lord’s gonna think about a man like me?
Mocking: Yeah, that’s about the funniest damn thing I heard.
Defiant: Proved you’re a man. Now get your ass on out of here before I show them otherwise.
Tough: Anything moves, shoot the shit out of it.
Mordant: Be careful Miss Bell, you’re starting to sound like a man.
Secure: That whiskey goes in the dance tent, not in your tent.
Sometimes a little appreciative: I like what you’ve done with the place.
Definitely, a peculiar personality, a top TV series main character.
Remember: On November 14, 2013, AMC renewed Hell on Wheels for a fourth season consisting of 13 episodes in 2014. Currently, they have begun shooting near Okotoks in the Province of Alberta, Canada, approximately 18 km south of the City of Calgary. The fourth season of Hell on Wheels will premiere in the late summer. But AMC has not set a specific date.
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
