Spring 2014 is in full swing at NYBG, with summer not far behind! Explore its Family Programs for a variety of exciting activities for all ages. Enjoy new sessions of New York Botanical Garden popular Dig! Plant! Grow! and Children’s Gardening Program. Amazing is also all-new family adventures as part of the Groundbreakers exhibition.
The long weekend offers even more opportunity to get hands as the Garden will be open all day on Saturday and Sunday, and all day on Monday, May 26.

The Everett Children’s Adventure Garden is a fun, beautiful space that captures the imagination of children, and brings out their inner explorer. Children are invited to come learn about the natural world around them, and investigate how technology has changed the way it is viewed. They will explore the world through a “new lens” while learning how observations of nature have been shared throughout time.
MAY 24–26, JULY 4–6, & AUGUST 30–SEPTEMBER 1. SousaKazooza!
Kids learn about John Philip Sousa and two of America’s distinct instruments, the sousaphone and kazoo. Participants make bandleader hats and receive a kazoo with which to march around. On Labor Day, September 1, participants are encouraged to come back and take part in a performance in the Ross Hall, for families and friends!
