The internet started on November 21 1969, when a group of scientists developed Arpanet. They established a first connection between UCLA and Stanford universities.
The internet first application was military.
Afterwards, they came emails, chats and forums.

In 1998, Larry Pag and Sergey Brin founded Google. Being students, they started to work in the project in a legendary garage at Menlo Park in California. It was only a search engine but now, it’s synonymous of Internet.
Internet explorer was during many years the main browser. Now, we also have Chrome, Firefox, Safary or Opera.

Internet speed has been one of the main problems for years, when an image needed minutes to be downloaded. Now, it works at a speed of 50 mbps.
The internet goal is to defend freedom of expression and use.
