Castle is a crime drama TV series, which premiered on ABC on March 2009 and it’s still a big hit.
It’s about a successful novelist Richard “Rick” Castle, who gets permission from the Mayor of NYC to tag along with an NYPD homicide investigation team for research purposes. There, he will know the love of his life: detective Kate Beckett.
Richard Castle is sexy, elegant and ironic. Sometimes a little superficial but in the end, a good friend.
Nathan Fillion plays the role of Richard Castle in the TV show. How about the actor? Does he look like the character?
Nathan Fillion is a happy, optimistic, wise person. Today, listen to him:
Happy: I’ve got a fantastic life. I enjoy what I do for a living. I see the blessings; I’m not blind.
Optimistic: There’s comedy even in tragedy. There’s comedy in life. And in ‘Castle’, we go for that comedy.
Imaginative: I think my printing to this day looks like the printing right out of a comic book. Actually, I always wanted to be in a comic book. I watched cartoons when I was a kid, too, and both comics and cartoons lit fire in my imagination. This realm holds a lot of interest for me, a lot of passion for me. So to be comic-ized, yeah, that’s cool.
Wise: Improve as an actor makes you present in the moment. You listen, you’re attentive. You’re not acting so much as reacting, which is what you’re doing in life all the time.
Realistic: I’m the kind of guy who, I need a watch that tells me what day it is. I need to know it’s Friday on my watch. I need to look at it and go, ‘Friday today.’ Tomorrow I will not know it’s Saturday until I look at my watch. My watchband broke, I was crippled. I have no concept of time, I have no concept of dates.
Ironic: Oh, boy. I’m still in touch with about 90 percent of my exes. They would describe me as being unlucky in love.
Don’t you like Nathan Fillion?
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
