This is my very personal choice. Celine Dion, Bonnie Tyler, Whitney Houston, Beyonce, Aretha Franklin. As Groucho Marx said: “Those are my principles, and if you don’t like them… well, I have others.”

1.- Celine Dion

Born in Charlemagne, Quebec, Canada on March 30, 1968. One of the best voices I’ve ever listened. Simply amazing. Her best song –remember, my personal choice-: My Heart Will Go On

Born in Skewen, West Glamorgan, Wales, United Kingdom on June 8, 1951… Broken voice but… what a voice! My favorite song, Total Eclipse of the Heart.

She died and we’re still crying for the lost but… she was one of the best. We miss you, Whitney!

Well, what to say? A great voice and an impressive figure. I used to go to a bar and the barman was obsessed with this video and I’ve listened one million times.

Maybe she might be the first one but… This five girls are fantastic. How can we compare between Mozart and Beethoven. If I’ve not been fair, please forgive me. I know I have forgotten many important names but these five are my favorite and Aretha Franklin, of course, is one of my five.

Those are probably the best 5 but, for me, Aretha Franklin is the very best, the QUEEN of All Music!!!!

Please…Please. Don’t ever forget the greatness of Tina Marie: there was no other voice like hers in all time! “Fire and Desire.”

MARIAH CAREY! MUM I GUSS YOU NEVER HEARD OF HER, HOW IN THE HELL YOU OVER LOOK HER.

  • i couldnt believe the lack of artists in this article
sure your choices ( all except bonnie tyler ) are spot on , what about the LEGENDARY Barbara Streisand ??? not only an amazing singer and a PILLAR of the music community , and Janis Joplin , a woman whose vocal chords are still this day un matched . Nina Simone ? her amazing gritty tone and thought provoking lyrics went hand in hand with the civil rights movements . i dont know who let ou write this article and publish it , but i certainly hope they provide other opportunities to writers who have a little more broad based taste in music and culture in the future .
