Earth Day 2014. From 1970, on April 22, we celebrate Earth Day to demonstrate support for environmental protection. This is very important! Happy Earth Day, friends!

Thus tomorrow, we’ll celebrate Earth Day in more than 192 countries. The event is currently coordinated globally by the Earth Day Network. This year, it will focus on the Green Cities campaign to mobilize a global movement to accelerate the transformation of our cities and towns, and to begin solving the climate crisis.

Most of the world currently relies on outdated electric generation structures that are extremely inefficient and dirty.

We need to update ordinances, switch to performance based building codes, and improve financing options.

And above all, vehicles must reduce gas emissions.

Celebrate our Blue Planet and ask for Green Cities, Towns and Villages. It’s truly important!

Enjoy your spring, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!

And remember:

All the conservation efforts in the world won’t be enough to make a dent in the oncoming sustainability crisis our planet faces. Naveen Jain.

We won’t have a society if we destroy the environment. Margaret Mead.

Resilience is all about being able to overcome the unexpected. Sustainability is about survival. The goal of resilience is to thrive. Jamais Cascio.

I think the environment should be put in the category of our national security. Defense of our resources is just as important as defense abroad. Otherwise what is there to defend? Robert Redford.

In a few decades, the relationship between the environment, resources and conflict may seem almost as obvious as the connection we see today between human rights, democracy and peace. Wangari Maathai.

Every time I have some moment on a seashore, or in the mountains, or sometimes in a quiet forest, I think this is why the environment has to be preserved. Bill Bradley.
