Game of Thrones season 4. Episode 1. Pros and cons. Review
Isabel del Rio

Game of Thrones season 4. Episode 1 is an introduction of the season, the characters (we already know most of them) and the situation they have now.

Game of Thrones season 4… Time has passed and Daenerys Targaryen has three dangerous children: her dragons. Currently, they are adults and are killing cattle to eat. Even one of them defies her mother. Really independent creatures, we cannot guess their evolution. Everything is possible. Will they help their mother to conquest her stolen throne? Will they face her threatening the whole mankind? A good start! Also, when we see Daenerys Targaryen walking confident through her army.

Game of Thrones season 4. Episode 1. Arya Stark and The Hound

The role of Daario Naharis is now play by Michiel Huisman. In this season, he is presented as a happy gambler, who wants to flirt with Daenerys. Jokes and flowers! She doesn’t pay attention… I don’t know if this happy image is what we wished. I would like a strong character. Anyway, we will see his evolution. I prefer the gravity of loyal Jorah Mormont. A point of constrast.

The psychotic king is preparing his Royal Wedding with Margaery Tyrell. I like the wise personality of the bride’s grandma, really necessary since her grandchildren are going to enter in Lannisters world.

Tywin Lannister has disowned his son Jaime. Cercei dislikes him too. It seems Jaime will be more independent this season. Maybe he can start a good relation with our hero Tyrion and with his old friend the warrior Brienne of Tarth.

John Snow

An interesting character has appeared in King’s Landing, a prince who seeks revenge. His objective is Tywin Lannister, of course!

How about the North? Beyond the wall, they are organizing the invasion. Tribes are coming together and some are cannibals. Thrilling!

It seems that Arya Stark and The Hound are going to lead a great story this season. She is not the naughty girl anymore. She has a deep dark coin, a violent seed is growing up. We’ll see.

Her sister Sansa Stark could learn something of Arya. We are fed up seeing her weeping all the time. It’s absolutely boring.

John Snow has recovered from his injuries. He is again with the Crows. His situation his problematic… as always!

Game of Thrones season 4. Episode 1 rocks!

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time.
