Scotland will hold a referendum on September 18, 2014. The outcome will determine its independence from Great Britain and now, people is looking for the descendant of the last king of Scotland, the Catholic King James II of England and VII of Scotland (14 October 1633 – 16 September 1701). They found her, she is the Spanish Cayetana Fitz-James Stuart, Duchess of Alba.

She is the woman with the most number of titles of nobility in the world. She is five times duchess, eighteen times marchioness, twenty times Countess, Viscountess, Countess-Duchess and Constable and fourteen times Grande of Spain. Wooow!

Her ancestors have always formed part of Spanish history, from the time of Isabel of Castile and before. One of the most famous is that cruel man who ravaged Belgium and Holland with the Spanish Third on behalf of King Philip II. Still not very popular in those countries. Fortunately, Cayetana has a quite different personality, perhaps similar to another of her famous ancestors, the beautiful woman that Francisco de Goya portrayed numerous times (Maja naked and dressed).

Cayetana has a beautiful palace in Madrid city-center (Palacio de Liria), but the city she prefers is Seville. They say she had a sad childhood because of contagious illness of her mother, the little girl couldn’t approach her. But afterwards, she has enjoyed life and celebration. Big fan and friend of flamenco singers and dancers (from Enrique el Cojo to Lola Flores), she dances flamenco quite well and like to spend time on the beaches of the Mediterranean Sea, where she is famous for her peculiar way of dressing: half hippie granny, half eccentric Duchess.

Peter Oborne, political commentator for The Telegraph, explained that she has a famous and crucial surname, Stuart, demonstrating something: her genealogy tree reaches the extraordinary Scottish dynasty.

We don’t know if Cayetana would be interested in being Queen. She is already multimillionaire and currently, having fun with her third husband, much younger than her. An old woman with the personality of a teenager. If she finishes being Queen, Scottish people will adore her, for sure.

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
