Hell on Wheels season 4. Hell on Wheels season three finished in a thrilling way. Elam Ferguson was apparently dead. A bear attacked him while he was looking for Cullen Bohannon, married in a Mormon settlement, and almost kidnapped by The Swede.
We know few things about season 4. Season 3 was about construction or reconstruction, since other seasons were about destruction. Above all, personal destruction and destruction of a dramatic past under the shadow of the American Civil War. We figure that season 4 is going to continue this path, until complete the reconstruction.
We also know that they will start shooting in April (too cold now) and of course, Cullen Bohannon will be the main character. But how about Elam Ferguson? He is the other side of the coin and we need him alive. There is not story without Elam.
When AMC president Charlie Collier in a statement said: ”Our commitment to the genre is unwavering and we look forward to continuing to super-serve this audience with an expanded fourth season of Hell on Wheels.” People was joyful, because nobody wants that Hell on Wheels finishes. Collier added: “AMC has served passionate Western fans for three decades, so it is particularly gratifying to see these viewers capping off their Saturdays with an original Western on what has historically been a tough night of the week for television.”
Yes, we agree. But now we need to know more details. Yareah readers are worried about Elam Ferguson destiny, they love the way he and Cullen Bohannon are condemned to understand each other, detesting and loving each other at the same time. Then, what are the roots of a true friendship. The most interesting friendship since Elam was a former slave and Cullen owned slaves in his plantation.
After the Civil War, times change and now, they can support each other and reconstruct their lives, full of dramatic experiences.
The Union Pacific railroad is the future and they must be in the future, both of them!
We love Elam Ferguson!
