Diets and teenagers. You need a balanced diet, especially during adolescence. Quick diets or fasting in adolescence is really dangerous. You need to consult a doctor or nutritionist before starting a diet.

Main problems of fasting for teenagers:

Begin to suffer serious eating disorders. Mainly, anorexia and bulimia. These disorders can last forever.

Delay the proper development of organs. Particularly concern if we talk about girls menstruation.

Symptoms of irritability. Discussions at home and problems at school and with friends. Studies may go to the bad or even be abandoned.

Fatigue and tiredness that can lead to depression or other psychological problems.

Hair loss due to lack of vitamins and nervousness.

Tooth decay due to lack of calcium. Even worse if they have a habit of causing vomiting.

Obsessions, nightmares and sleep disorders.

Problems with self-image and aesthetic confusion. Skinny people watch themselves fat in the mirror.

Spend a fortune on expensive dietary supplements.

Especially harmful are cleansing diets. Doctors and experts (for example, Professor of Nutrition and Food Sciences Abel Marine) believes that the concept of ‘purify’ is not even scientific.

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you. Think about the beauty that is surrounding you.

“I have a history of eating disorders but, as a mother, you think of being an example to your child. I’m so much more balanced than I was.” Geri Halliwell.

“As the president of the Council of Fashion Designers of America, I represent the designers. And while we can by no means take the blame for eating disorders, we can play our part in addressing this important issue.” Diane von Furstenberg.

“All behavioral or mood disorders – including depression, OCD, ADHD and addiction – have some neurochemical components, but sufferers can still work to overcome them.” Jeffrey Kluger.
