Then, it’s interesting to read about Al Capone way of thinking (January 17, 1899 in Brooklyn, New York – January 25, 1947 (aged 48) in Palm Island, Florida). Here, some of his best quotes:
Prohibition has made nothing but trouble.
This American system of ours, call it Americanism, call it capitalism, call it what you will, gives each and every one of us a great opportunity if we only seize it with both hands and make the most of it.
I have built my organization upon fear.
My rackets are run on strictly American lines and they’re going to stay that way.
Capitalism is the legitimate racket of the ruling class.
Famous Gangsters: Alphonse Gabriel Capone led a Prohibition-era crime syndicate from the early 1920s to 1931. This year, Al Capone was convicted on federal charges of tax evasion and sentenced to federal prison. He was released on parole in 1939. His incarceration included a term at Alcatraz prison. He died from cardiac arrest after suffering a stroke.
