Friends and partners of smokers are being urged this Christmas to buy them the gift that keeps on giving – electronic cigarettes.
Nicolites – the UK’s favourite e-cigarettes – says putting one of their starter kits in Santa’s sack could see thousands of smokers begin the journey to a new lifestyle by helping them switch from traditional tobacco cigarettes.
And with many pledging to stub out tobacco as a new year’s resolution, the timing couldn’t be better, according to Nicolites managing director Nikhil Nathwani.
“We know that friends and family of smokers worry about the damage their loved ones are inflicting on themselves by smoking tobacco cigarettes. Electronic cigarettes may not be a traditional Christmas gift, but it is one that could kick-start the journey to a tobacco-free lifestyle.”
He added: “We know that thousands of people will once again promise to kick the habit when they make their New Year resolution. By giving them an e-cigarette starter kit, you will be helping them enormously and – with the support of their loved ones – they could finally end their addiction to tobacco which we know causes the deaths of millions of people every year.”
Nicolites recently announced the launch of Golden Tobacco – a new flavour that is so authentic it is taking the electronic cigarette market by storm. Unveiling the new flavour – in zero, low, medium and high nicotine cartomisers – Nikhil said Golden Tobacco is the most realistic flavour on the UK market today.
Nicolites is the UK’s biggest brand of electronic cigarettes, stocked by a large number of national retailers including Tesco, Sainsbury’s, ASDA, Superdrug, Co-op, WH Smith, Martin McColl and over 10,000 independent pharmacies and convenience stores.
E-cigarettes are designed to look and feel like real cigarettes, but are battery-powered products containing liquid nicotine, which is inhaled as a vapour. They contain no tobacco and do not burn, not exposing users to tar and other carcinogens found in normal cigarettes.
