Cities of Love and their Love Stories. From Verona to Jamestown in Virginia or Niagara Falls. A new brotherhood based on love and Romantic stories is being born. Don’t you like it?

A European initiative is looking for the Top Cities of Love. Those places famous for having a dramatic love story, not legendary but real.

Firstly, we have Verona in Italy. The town that inspired Shakespeare his play ‘Romeo and Juliet’. In fact, the play is based on a real story that happened in the Middle Ages.

Another beautiful candidate is Constanta in Romania. There, Ovid was exiled, once accused of immorality. His main sin was to have written The Ars Amandi (Love Art) explaining the best tricks to get a girl.

Teruel in Spain would join this brotherhood. As always, a tragic story of two lovers with a dark fate, since he was poor and she was rich and with a mean family.

We like this initiative. It’s so romantic! And we think other continents should join this passionate club.

In Asia, in India, it’s Agra, where Mughal emperor Shah Jahan built Taj Mahal in memory of his third wife, Mumtaz Mahal, his lost eternal love.

Of course, in Africa, Alexandria, where Marc Anthony and Cleopatra VII lived their passionate love.

And how about Niagara Falls? The place where so many couple have spent their Honey Moon. Also in America, Jamestown in Virginia, where the real Pocahontas lived. Remember that Pocahontas marriage to Thomas Rolfe was the first recorded interracial marriage in American history

Do you know more Cities of Love? Which one do you prefer?

Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
