The Wind City sets a young man who is befriended by Maui’s ghost against a young woman who discovers that she is a taniwha – he is fighting to protect Wellington’s human population from patupaiarehe, ponaturi, and other supernatural creatures, while she is trying to protect the iwi atua from people as they try to adapt to this new world.


**Matchbox first opened its doors in May 2012. Since then Matchbox has become a creative space for local and international artists and designers to exhibit and sell their work. The Matchbox team are photographers, curators and designers that are also supported by a team of hard-working interns and volunteers.
