Provenance: Acquired directly from Liborio Noval by the present owner
This lot also includes a print by Liborio Noval of Che Guevara taking the photograph described above . Noval and Guevara were in Revolution Square together and Guevara asked Noval to lend him one of his cameras to photograph Castro. With another camera Noval captured this moment. When he later developed his camera rolls he found the two images.
