Christmas decorations. Patricia Breen Ornaments at The Museum of Fine Arts in Boston – Bookstore and shop.
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!
Patricia Breen and her husband, Eric Shaikewitz, went to Poland after college to give help and support to local businesses. They now make their home there and create these beautiful handmade glass ornaments in the old Eastern European tradition. Breen comes up with the ideas and Shaikewitz sculpts the models. The molds are limited to 2000 pieces, and many ornaments are much more exclusive than that. From the very fine glitter to the detail in the painting, expressive eyes, and the embellishments, there is no escaping the fact that these ornaments are works of art.
Christmas is not a time nor a season, but a state of mind. To cherish peace and goodwill, to be plenteous in mercy, is to have the real spirit of Christmas. By Calvin Coolidge.
