NORMAN, OK. The Firehouse Art Center’s Holiday Gallery will open Friday, November 8, 2013 and run through Tuesday, December 24, 2012. “If you are looking for original, handmade works of art for seasonal gifts, the 42nd annual Holiday Gift Gallery is the place for stress-free shopping. Plus, purchasing gifts at the Firehouse Art Center supports your local community arts center and Oklahoma artists,” said Douglas Shaw Elder, Executive Director of the Firehouse Art Center.

This exhibit offers unique items for purchase, in a warm, festive atmosphere. Browse one-of-a-kind artisans’ wares with hundreds of gift items available ranging from fine art to stunning craft pieces. A variety of artistic mediums are represented, including painting, pottery, jewelry, blown glass and sculpture. An assortment of Christmas ornaments are also available.

The Firehouse Art Center will be open late for shopping during the Second Friday Circuit of Art on November 8th and December 13th from 6:00 – 9:00 p.m. each evening in addition to their regular hours, 9:30 a.m. – 5:30 p.m. Monday – Friday, and 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. on Saturdays.
