Zombies. How to stop the Zombie pandemic? The movie World War Z by Marc Forster gives some satirical solutions and other more serious.
Yesterday, I saw the movie World War Z by Marc Forster. Stars: Brad Pitt, Mireille Enos and Daniella Kertesz.
Screenplay: Matthew Michael Carnahan, Drew Goddard and Damon Lindelof
The film is based on ‘World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War’ apocalyptic horror novel by Max Brooks. It is a follow-up to his survival manual ‘The Zombie Survival Guide’.
In the movie, former United Nations employee Gerry Lane travels across the world in a race against time to stop the Zombie pandemic that is collapsing cities and countries and of course, threatening to destroy humanity itself.
Then… How to stop the Zombie pandemic?
Well, the movie gives some satirical solutions and other more serious, even tragic.
For example, a possible solution would be to pull out people teeth. Another, to live in an isolated ship or to build a giant wall around uninfected cities. The funniest is to be always silent, because zombies sleep if you don’t make noises.
However, the movie severely criticizes some practices of our governments. In fact, the zombie pandemic had started due to laboratory experiments for military reasons. Fortunately, in the movie, a hero (Brad Pitt) is able to correct the problem. But what about reality?
The best way to be free from diseases is to prevent them. We must be careful with our experiments and biological weapons. Governments too.
Enjoy your day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere!
