About Christopher McVinish:

In 2013 Christopher won the Salon des Refuses People’s Choice Award for his portrait of Colin and the work has also been selected as a finalist in the 2013 Black Swan Prize, one of Australia’s richest portrait prizes.

Christopher McVinish has been a fixture in Eva Breuer’s stable of artists for a number of years and it has been two years since his last exhibition. Christopher is a realist painter whose works are exquisitely detailed yet open to interpretation. His urban scenes capture a moment in time.
