Have a nice day, Yareah friends. Art is everywhere and up to you!

Anna Harding:

My series explores people’s experience of music, dance and self-expression. Throughout history music making has been as natural as breathing for us. But somewhere along the line this changed, and now it seems to be only the most talented who get up on stage to perform while the rest of us watch. How we develop this way? Why is it more common for people to dance and let loose only by themselves or around certain people?

Hannah Williams:

The series is exploring the lines between the real and the constructed, by using the Seven Deadly Sins as a narration point. The photographs have been inspired by actual people or circumstances these people were involved in. Each photo is either a construction of the type of person they are, or the situation they found themselves in. The sins are being used to demonstrate and exaggerate each person’s story. Each and every one of us has a sin, if not more than one.

Dillon Anderson:

To most, the natural world holds a sense of mystery, far removed from the mechanical sureness we surround ourselves in. My series of images uses this mystery to inspire fascination and a connection with living things. Being connected to animals is necessary if we are to regard them and include them in the future our kind now controls.

Images in this photographic series carry an environmental attitude as they reveal surprising animal occupants in and around Wellington City, all under the cover of darkness.
