Steve Jobs life and achievements are the inspiration of the movie Jobs, directed by Joshua Michael Stern and starred by Ashton Kutcher, Dermot Mulroney and Josh Gad.
The movie has been strongly criticized by Steve Wozniak, co-founder of Apple. He says there are great mistakes in the plot and that nobody has asked him about Jobs personality and life.
Then, who was Steve Jobs? Here, some quotes to understand his personality:
“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma – which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice. And most important, have the courage to follow your heart and intuition.”
“For the past 33 years, I have looked in the mirror every morning and asked myself: ‘If today were the last day of my life, would I want to do what I am about to do today?’ And whenever the answer has been ‘No’ for too many days in a row, I know I need to change something.”
“Being the richest man in the cemetery doesn’t matter to me. Going to bed at night saying we’ve done something wonderful, that’s what matters to me.”
“Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven’t found it yet, keep looking. Don’t settle. As with all matters of the heart, you’ll know when you find it.”
“Technology is nothing. What’s important is that you have a faith in people, that they’re basically good and smart, and if you give them tools, they’ll do wonderful things with them.”
This is the most famous: “Stay hungry, stay foolish.”
And of course, our favorite: “I want to put a ding in the universe.”
