484 Songs Are In the Grateful Dead Collection

Connections are needed for a healthy lifestyle.

Immediate openings here and now.

Respect for the 484 songs that are in the Grateful Dead collection.

A roadmap to life’s strangest trip.

Wisdom and reality plus the allure of a rock and roll life style.

Always playing even with the dangers involved.

San Francisco’s great Haight-Ashbury neighborhood.

Birthplace of our counter culture.

The home of our Grateful Dead ancestors.

But now changed.

The story starts like this.

Bob Weir met Jerry Garcia at a Palo Alto music store in 1963.

“He wanted to play the guitar and have a good time”, Jerry told us.

“Whose idea was it to have a band”, we ask?

“We had a jug band with Pig Pen and Bob, and we played

any place we could, then finally we got into the electric music.”

“Then what happened?”

“Well, we were still confused, but it was a new world now and

we can’t be wasting any more time”, he tells us.

“Thank you for the love”, we respond.

We Deadheads remember the magic of every concert attended.

“And, I carry his memory with me”, says Bob Weir.

“Because Jerry gave us so much”.

Yes we all agree.
