American TV series Homeland returns in autumn, but we won’t see Damien Lewis (Sergeant Brody) until winter.
The U.S. network Showtime has just announced that Homeland will return on September 29, 2013. However, during the first few chapters Sergeant Brody (Damien Lewis) will be absent.
TV series Homeland is a great success in America and worldwide. It has achieved the approval of critics and was one of the stars of the latest edition of the Emmy Awards: 2012 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Drama Series, for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Drama Series and Lead Actress in a Drama Series.
Homeland is developed by Howard Gordon and Alex Gansa and it’s based on the Israeli series Hatufim (Prisoners of War) created by Gideon Raff. The main starring roles are Danien Lewis and Claire Danes (Carrie Mathison).
