Sexy Men. Josh Holloway as Sawyer in Lost

Josh Holloway raised in Georgia and loves Georgia so much that he still considers himself a “Blue Ridge Mountain boy.”

Firstly, he had a successful career as a model but then, he moved to Los Angeles and lessened his Southern accent to get a wider variety of roles in films or TV shows. However, he had to pick his old accent back up to play the shady Sawyer on the hit show Lost (2004). He has also said he disliked the long hair he had to wear on the series.

In 2005, Josh Holloway was already chosen by People magazine as one of the 50 Most Beautiful People in the World.

In 2009, they offered him the role of Gambit in X-Men Origins: Wolverine but turned it down, saying the role was too close to his character in Lost. Then, it seems he finished tired of playing Sawyer!

Other important films include: Just Yell Fire (2006), Whisper (2007), Stay Cool (2009), Mission Impossible- Ghost Protocol (2011) and this year the upcoming movies Battle of the Year: The Dream Team and Paranoia.

Battle of the Year: The Dream Team will be released on September 13. It is a 3D dance film directed by Benson Lee. Josh Holloway stars with Chris Brown, Laz Alonso, and Josh Peck. Battle of the Year is based on Lee documentary about the b-boying competition of the same name.

Paranoia is directed by Robert Luketic and Josh Holloway stars with Liam Hemsworth, Gary Oldman, Harrison Ford and Amber Heard.

“Being Southern and being the guy I’ve been all my life, I’ve lived more on the lighter side of life. I have a dark side, but that’s not where I come from. A lot of artists like to come from that.”
