Sexy Men. James Franco. He is the End! James Franco rocks! And he is our sexy man of today, of this summer day, so hot. Read about his career and projects on Yareah Magazine.
James Franco is not only a handsome man. He volunteers for the Art of Elysium charity and has taught at the University of New York in feature filmmaking and production. This year, he has begun teaching a course in short film production at the University of Southern California and another course in screenwriting at the University of California, Los Angeles. In this last university, he is also an adjunct professor of English. Yes, not bad for a teacher but now, read about his film career:
James Franco was born in 1978 in Palo Alto, California. His mother, Betsy Lou, is also an actress and writer. His first important role was a lead part on the short-lived cult hit TV program Freaks and Geeks.
“When we were doing ‘Freaks and Geeks’, I didn’t quite understand how movies and TV worked, and I would improvise even if the camera wasn’t on me.”
Afterwards, James achieved recognition for playing in the TV biographical film James Dean (of course, he was James Dean and was awarded with a Golden Glove Award).
Furthermore, James Franco portrayed Harry Osborn in Spider-Man trilogy by Sam Raimi and in other important movies including: Pineapple Express, Milk, 127 Hours, Tristan & Isolde, Annapolis, Rise of the Planet of the Apes, Oz the Great and Powerful, Spring Breakers, and This Is the End.
He plays a recurring role in the ABC soap opera General Hospital.
We love him! He is one of the Best!
“Acting is an art form and you want to take roles that are challenged and it’s more of a challenge I think to play dark characters. Not that I want to always play those, but it is a challenge and challenges are rewarding and fun.”
