Sexy Men. Colin Farrell in Dead Man Down. It is a 2013 American neo-noir thriller crime movie, written by J.H. Wyman and directed by Danish filmmaker Niels Arden Oplev. Colin costars with Noomi Rapace, Dominic Cooper and Terrence Howard. If you have not seen the movie (it was released this April), do not miss it, it is worth!

Colin Farrell (born in 1976) is and Irish actor, who started his successful career in 1998, starring in BBC Ballykissangel. From then, he has always been considered one of the sexiest men of our century.

We have seen him in Tigerland (2000), in Phone Booth (2002), in S.W.A.T (2003) and in the wonderful movie The Recruit (2003). But it was in Minority Report and Daredevil, both by Steven Spielberg where he gained wider fame, so wide as to be Alexander (2004) in the celebrated blockbuster by Oliver Stone.

Colin Farrell has also starring in independent movies (in fact, he is a little rebel). For example, Intermission (2003), Home at the End of the World (2004) and above all, Cassandra’s Dream by Woody Allen (2007).

However, it was his role in fellow Irishman Martin McDonagh In Bruges by which he received official recognition in the form of a Golden Globe in 2008.

He is a favorite among top film critics: Roger Ebert, Peter Bradshaw and Manohla Dargis love him and People magazine named him ’50 most beautiful People’ in 2003. This same year, Company magazine place Colin as the sixth world sexiest man.

We admired him in Terrence Malick Pocahontas movie, The New World and in Peter Lake film adaptation of Helprin novel Winter’s Tale.

His last movie, Dead Man Down by Niels Arden Oplev is fantastic. No doubt, he is still one of the sexiest men in the world.

Congratulations, Colin.
