Jon Snow, the handsome in Game of Thrones

Jon Snow is one of the most romantic characters in the famous TV series Game of Thrones. No doubt. Jon Snow (starred by Kit Harington) meets all the requirements to be another Count of Monte Cristo or a modern and handsome Dracula.

Jon Snow in Game of Thrones

He is a bastard (good start). In the Seven Kingdoms, Snow is the last name of the bastards. However, he is the best son of the fair and perfect Lord Ned Stark. For the moment, his mother is a mystery (Romanticism always like secrets) and he had to grow up with Catelyn Stark, the legal wife of Ned, who made his life miserable. Nevertheless, he kept in balance and learnt warrior arts. He’s the best rider, swordsman, archer and of course, knows the code of honor and loyalty.

Ruggedly handsome, Jon Snow became a monk and swore vows of chastity. And alone in the distant Wall, which protects the Seven Kingdoms of a possible invasion of North wild people, he is trying to find himself. We see him in the snow, dress in black, with a large coat in the wind. We saw him killing undead and saving his partners. We saw him surrounded of magic forces… So romantic!

In fact the actor, Kit Harington, is a descendant of William the Conqueror, the first Norman King of England, and of Hugues Capet, the first King of the Franks, and of Charlemagne, the first Holy Roman Emperor. Yes, it seems a joke but it’s true!

In this third season, which has just finished, Jon Snow is one of the few survivors of Stark family. Then, we suppose, he had to take the place of his eldest brother (Robb Stark) and command the Northern Army… against the South, the Lannisters and… this time against the undead invasion too.

Really romantic, really handsome, we love Jon Snow.
