Fifty Shades of Grey. Ian Somerhalder possibilities in front of other actors like Henry Cavill, Matt Boomer or Chris Pine. Review by Isabel del Rio.

Last days, Yareah Magazine has been speaking about different actors who could play Christian Grey in the next movie based on the books Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James.

We propose Henry Cavill (current Superman) but it’s clear that Ian Somerhalder is the favorite on the web.

Then, maybe it is time to write about his career and dramatic possibilities.

Ian Somerhalder was born and raised in Louisiana (Covington) and nobody in his family had been actor before. However, handsome as he was, Somerhalder embarked on a modeling career soon, from age 10 to 13. He liked to be in front of the spotlights and by the age of 17, he had decided to go into acting.

He participated in several TV series but it was in 2004, when Ian Somerhalder gets some fame playing Boone Carlyle in the hit TV show ‘Lost’. In fact, he was the first actor to be cast in a role for this TV series and the first to die. Great impact! He worked in the series until 2010.

But in June 2009, he was cast in the role of Vampire Damon Salvatore as a series regular in The CW television drama series ‘The Vampire Diaries’. Ian Somerhalder has received a Teen Choice Award for his participation on the TV series and lots of girls and even boys are following him. Same people who is supporting he was Christian Grey in the next announced movie.

Anyway, he is a really good person involved in very many good causes. For example, Ian Somerhalder was involved in the cleanup after the Deepwater Horizon oil drilling disaster on April 22, 2010. He also supports the St. Tammany Humane Society, an organization for animal shelter and welfare and together with Candice Accola and Michael Trevino, he is part of the It Gets Better Project to prevent suicide among youth.

Thus, may the best win!

Here, a friendly moment.

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time.
