Exchange of ideas and passions at Hazelhurst Regional Gallery NSW. Speakiers will discuss 20 images for 20 seconds each. Don’t miss this event, it’s worth!
Something to Write Home About is presented in conjunction with current exhibition Home & Hosed, and powered by PechaKucha, a simple, energised and informal presentation format in which speakers discuss 20 images for 20 seconds each. Pioneered in 2003 by Tokyo’s Superdeluxe, PechaKucha nights have been held in over 500 cities around the world and present a unique and engaging model for the creative exchange of ideas, passions, practice and practically anything else!
Home & Hosed artists Gemma Messih, John A Douglas, Marc Etherington, Lynda Draper, Seiglinde Karl-Spence, Christopher Dolman and exhibition curator Liz Nowell tackle the PechaKucha format at Hazelhurst for the first time on the evening of Wednesday 12 June.
The talks, commencing at 7pm, will be preceded by drinks and live music in the Hazelhurst Regional
Gallery from 6pm. RSVP by phoning 02 8536 5731 by 5pm Friday June 7. For further details please visit www.hazelhurst.com.au
