Music for Friday: Irena Grafenauer – Chopin Variations on theme by Rossini

Irena Grafenauer. Chopin Variations on theme by Rossini

Woof, woof everyone. Today, we will enjoy Slovenian flute player and soloist Irena Grafenauer playing Chopin Variations on theme by Rossini.

Irena Grafenauer was First Prize in three international competitions: in Belgrade (1974), Geneva (1978) and Munich (1979). From 1977 to 1987 she was principal flautist with the Bavarian Radio Symphony Orchestra under Rafael Kubelik and Sir Colin Davis. She has successfully toured most European countries, the United States, Japan, and Australia as a soloist.

I hope you enjoy this. Peace, love and food! Woof, woof!

Music is a moral law. It gives soul to the universe, wings to the mind, flight to the imagination, and charm and gaiety to life and to everything.
