Homo Sayswhaticus by Lance Manion

I was given this book in return for an honest review. Wow, this book is hilarious, but if you are offended by off color humor, take a pass and don’t bother reading my review. I loved the fact that this book jumps from one random topic to another. Brushing teeth, itches, the Iditarod, hippo’s, Movie snacks, sex, sports, lemon drops, the economy, and so on. You get the idea. Each of these Random Ramblings will make you laugh, or at least snicker. Full of offensive hilariousness, yes I made up that word, but it applies to this book completely. “I have to admit the picture in my head of two little legs sticking straight out of a steaming hippopotamus turd is both sad and hysterical.” or “If brushing my teeth felt like jerking off, you wouldn’t even be able to look at my face when I smiled, for fear of being blinded.” If you want an easy read, that you can pick up and put down whenever you need a good laugh, this is definitely the book for that.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Available at Amazon, Barnes & Noble and Smashwords

Other titles by the author: Merciful Flush; Result May Vary; The Ball Washer.

Lance Manion has been called demented, hilarious, quirky and well outside the mainstream. He has released 5 collections of short stories, contributes to numerous online flash fiction sites and blogs daily on his website Currently, his fifth book named "The Trembling Fist" is out and promises to be his fifthest yet. I'm sure there are a lot of redeeming features about Lance that we could mention but none of them are coming to mind just now. If we think of any we'll be sure to get back to you.
