The artist Echi Aaberg is in the beautiful Normandy – a lot to see and taste in this part of France. Many farms that produce Calvados and Cidre – you may visit , taste and buy of course. Normandy is also where many producers of Camenbert are to be found – and plenty of other cheese producers.
The beaches and museums related to both First and Second World War are interesting. Echi is meeting many Americans on these places.
These three photos related to the American soldiers from Omaha Beach, show a little of Normandy history. Think about it!
**During the World War 2, Omaha Beach was the code name for one of the five sectors of the Allied invasion of German-occupied France in the Normandy landings. It happened on 6 June 1944.
