Thirty years ago, Belfast Exposed was born out of a strong, local street documentary photography tradition, at a moment of intense media scrutiny and violent upheaval in the city. As part of our 30th birthday celebrations, we invite you to join founder member Sean McKernan for one of our famous Black and White Location and Darkroom Workshops, taking a photographic journey through the Falls & Shankill, invoking the organisation’s founding moment and re-shooting locations where the early community photographers took some of their most iconic images.
