Poems of Life. Dominion by R A Lovelace

In my dominion

there is great joy

Life shines brightly

is not a ploy.

I push tiles

in number 8

To work out wonders

before it’s late.

Sunrise comes

and sunset goes

Many questions,

many foes.

I strive for happy

successful most

Some still wonder

am I a ghost.

It is important

to see the theme

To work for change

give light it’s beam.

I hope that seeing

will make this clear

That special times

are oh so near.

I offer brightness

the darkness gone

See happy faces

as life goes on.

Trusting floating

may now return

And loving comes

as old things burn.

The brightness rises

as with the dawn

We should watch

keep going on.

For much is learned

and all is wonder

Much came sharply

some went like thunder.

The past won’t change

became obsessive

For a great time

it was possessive.

Now our dominion

seems mostly boundless

We follow light

no longer soundless.

And offer much

to all we love

And continue flight

on way above.

No more anger

lessons learned

That life is brightness

not always burned.

We have survived

the long hard fight

And closer now

embrace the light.

And time keeps moving

dominion grows

Life will flourish

our love still flows.
