Recipes. A Strong Cocktail for a Strong Sunday. Celebrate Spring! Live your Belle Epoque!
Spring has come and we have Sun and good time. People are happy and a lot of them will have some vacation days. Celebrate!
‘Earthquake’ is a cocktail quite strong. Legends say that its creator was the French painter Henri Toulouse-Lautrec. The Belle Époque! What a time! Of course, this cocktail involves absinthe and its evil fame.
The name ‘The Tremblement de Terre’ is derived from its effects. They say it tends to “shake up” the drinker. An exaggeration? Test yourself?
In a wine goblet mix:
Three parts of Absinthe. Some sources recommends using a lower-alcohol absinthe such as Swiss La Bleue or Pernod White Fairy.
And three parts of Cognac.
Afterwards, shake with ice and strain into a collins glass.
Anyway, the most important is to have a good company!
Have a nice day, Yareah magazine friends!
