Liza Minnelli is the daughter of Vicente Minnelli and Judy Garland. She attended New York City’s Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School of Music & Art and Performing Arts and Chadwick School and her first experience on film was at age three in the musical In the Good Old Summertime in 1949.
Minnelli rose to international stardom for her appearance as Sally Bowles in the 1972 film version of the Broadway musical Cabaret, for which she won the Academy Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role.
