Yareah Magazine

Your Movie is the title for Yareah magazine next issue (issue 35- April 2013). Submissions are open until the end of March.

Cinema, movies, actors, actresses and film directors have shaped the lives of the people of the 20th century and 21.

Movies have globalized our customs, modified our behavior, taught to flirt and to joke, to control our feelings and to educate our likes. We have films in our veins, thousands of different films and TV series.

What are your favorite movies? What movie has marked your life? What is the best director or the best movie of this year? What the best or the worst in the history? Is the movie business going through a good time? How about Oscars and other Awards?… Share your opinions. Submit your photos, paintings, artworks, short stories, poems, articles… Be part of Yareah magazine family: Art is everywhere!

Read other opinions:

The essence of cinema is editing. It’s the combination of what can be extraordinary images of people during emotional moments, or images in a general sense, put together in a kind of alchemy. By Francis Ford Coppola

I prefer ordinary girls – you know, college students, waitresses, that sort of thing. Most of the girls I go out with are just good friends. Just because I go out to the cinema with a girl, it doesn’t mean we are dating. By Leonardo DiCaprio

The cinema began with a passionate, physical relationship between celluloid and the artists and craftsmen and technicians who handled it, manipulated it, and came to know it the way a lover comes to know every inch of the body of the beloved. No matter where the cinema goes, we cannot afford to lose sight of its beginnings. By Martin Scorsese

I am really not interested in the cinema. I loathed it when I started six years ago, and I don’t enjoy it even now. By Brigitte Bardot

Definetely, opinions are free. What is yours? What is your movie?
