Victor Hugo was born on February 26, 1802 in Besançon (in the region of Franche-Comté)
Victor Hugo was a French poet, novelist, and dramatist. He is, maybe, the most important novelist in the 19th century and one of the most representative writers ever. For me, the 19th century was the Century of the Novel and when the classical narrative evolved. With Tolstoy, Dickens, Flaubert and many others, Victor Hugo created the modern sense of the current narrative. He is still today an example for writers and, if you want to know how to Write with a capital W, you need to read his novels.
Of course, he is one of the writers I admire most. Today is a special day for all men and women who tried to write something, whatever it was. People like Mr. Hugo showed us the way. Thank you very much, Mr. Hugo.
Have a great, literary and funny day, dear Yareah friends.
