Woof, woof everyone. Today I would like to enjoy something deep, romantic and strong at the same time. Yes, I am talking about Gustav Mahler, Austrian composer and one of the leading conductors of his generation.
Mahler is the bridge between the romanticism of the 19th century and the modernism in the 20th century. Mahler is the first who opened the doors to the new worlds of Arnold Schoenberg, Alban Berg, Anton Webern and many others. He was a visionary and tormented man, a great musician.
Let’s enjoy today his 5th symphony in C sharp minor. Daniel Barenboim conductor, Chicago Symphony Orchestra.
Have a great date!
