Why to forbid alcohol and spirits (in Spain). Funny and Surrealistic

Why to forbid alcohol and spirits (in Spain). Funny and Surrealistic

If you are asking yourselves why I wasn’t writing anything… well, it was simple: my keyboard was broken and I didn’t have time to buy another –because I am Spanish I need to add: it was not about the money-. And now I have a new keyboard, my friends! By the way, I have broken dozens of keyboards since we began with Yareah Magazine.

For skeptic people: the article you are just about to read is absolutely ironic. There won’t be any relationship between these words and Aristotle’s logic.

To Our Dear Spanish Politicians:

I was thinking today –no, I don’t think all time, it was an exception-… Why don’t our Governments forbid alcohol at pubs? We all know alcohol is bad for children and adults and we have just begun to live a healthy life thanks to Governments when they forbidden tobacco at pubs. Now, we can breathe better and everybody is happy, healthy and smiling. And I ask to myself: why not? Bars are spaces to talk, to think or –who knows- to get a girlfriend or a boyfriend. I hate when a drunkard approaches to me and I cannot understand a word. Wouldn’t be marvelous if anybody drank alcohol? It would be, of course.

There are more reasons. As everybody knows, health care is very expensive and, because alcohol is bad, we would save many dollars, euros or rupees. The Governments would save also and, overall, our life would be great and marvelous. We would be able to ride a bike, practice snowboard or make love. Can you imagine this fantastic life? Yes, I know Governments would lose money because of taxes but… (Trust me, they know how to get your money using one thousand and one vampire methods)

You can argue that we would go back to Prohibition times with bottle-ledgers and Al Capone but, let’s think a little. Wouldn’t be better if we leave alcohol by ourselves? We must support our Governments because they know what is the best for us and how to spend our money.

Of course, I am not going to speak about civilized countries like USA, I am talking about countries like Spain and its great politicians. You must know, dear Spanish politicians, we LOVE you! XxxxxOOOO. We know you are clever and sophisticated people who aren’t stealing our money. You are making a great management and people are with you! With our hearts… please, take our blood. More and more! We are yours!

Anyway, I really recommend to ban alcohol because we trust you, politicians. We don’t need more whiskey if you are with us! I confide you can manage this crisis as only a god could… some people think that you are a gang but I don’t think so. You are trying to solve a very difficult situation with all your intelligence –maybe this is the problem ;)-. We must learn from the past and we must read the History. It’s time to forbid alcohol and it’s time to leave the crisis and this pessimism. We don’t need more whiskey, we need courage. We need more politicians like you.

I adore them!

Thanks, dear politicians. Spain is with you. We don’t need whiskey if you are with us. Go on!

P.S: I REALLY need a drink, hehehe.

Lord's Pavilion

As the cricket season draws to a close, Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC) can report a surge in popularity for guests seeking a full day of luxury hospitality at Lord’s during a Test Match in 2016. In the Home of Cricket’s most iconic venues – the Captains’ Lounge and Marylebone Suite – hospitality packages which included a hearty breakfast, sumptuous four-course lunch and luxury afternoon tea, sold out quickly for the first three days of the England v Sri Lanka and England v Pakistan Investec Test Matches. Private Boxes with the best views of the action for up to 18 guests also sold out fast for the same days. MCC revealed a sharp increase in revenue for its 2016 Sri Lanka Test Match hospitality packages compared with 2014 when the team last played England at Lord’s. Revenues for hospitality were up by nearly 30% over the same period in 2014 whilst private box sale revenues were up by a healthy 60%. Nick Kenton, MCC Head of Sales, Meetings & Events and Hospitality, said: “2016 has been a fantastic year for enjoying a day of cricket whilst experiencing the very best food, drink and hospitality that Lord’s has to offer. “This year’s sales figures show that hospitality packages at Lord’s were in huge demand and continue to be a key part of the summer sporting calendar.” Lord’s also expects high demand for its new hospitality packages, to be released this autumn for 2017 matches. These include England v South Africa from 6th to 10th July and England v West Indies from 7th to 11th September. Packages for the England v Ireland Royal London One-Day International on 7th May 2017 are also expected to sell out in record time. Details of all hospitality options at Lord’s can be found on its website
