Z movies The joke if fully guaranteed: 007 Squad, Connection Miami, Don’t go the Forest… Alone; Dracula Bollywood Horror and The Ship of Monsters.
Z movies Cutre Con Madrid. Tomorrow, January 19 2013, La Casa del Reloj in Madrid (Pº de la Chopera, 6-10) will show bad cinema. From 11 am to 10 pm (with a brake to have a quick lunch and recover forces) people will see the worst movies of all time.
This is the second show by Cutre Con, a marathon of cheap and strange movies, some of them quite funny too.
During the morning, attendees can watch 007 Squad, one of the worst examples of animated film, blatant plagiarism of Comand G. Afterwards, Connection Miami, a movie with Ninjas and Rock music. Connection Miami is now an icon of Z movies in the United States.
During the afternoon, three underground movies. Don’t go to the Forest… Alone (1981); Dracula Bollywood Horror, and Indian production (nobody knows when) which mixes dances, music, fun and terror; and The Ship of Monsters (1960), a science fiction film where mariachis and aliens must fight to help mankind.
Amusing event! If you have the chance, don’t miss it!
** The term Z movie (or grade-Z movie) arose in the mid-1960s as an informal description of certain unequivocally non-A films. It was soon adopted to characterize low-budget pictures with quality standards well below those of most B movies and even so-called C movies
**Cutre-Con is Cutre (means tatty) Film Festival of Madrid, an annual free event in which its leaders projected some of the worst movies of the world in an intensive day. Movies are selected by experts, perfect for laugh and suffer, in an act which interacts with the public. The joke is fully guaranteed.
