New York TV series What is your favorite

New York TV series, there are so many! It’s difficult to choose. But at least we can make a review of those we liked over the years. Sometimes, they have influenced us so much that we have the impression of being friends of the protagonists.

Precisely, one of my favorite is Friends, so funny! So tender! I’ve seen it for years and in the end, I think that Phoebe Buffay (Lisa Kudrow), the eccentric blond girl and self-taught musician, is my sister!

I also love Heroes and The Nanny but Gossip Girl would be one of my tops. A shame it has finished! So many ideas about fashionstyle!

And how about Gargoyles? I love this mix between Notre Dame of Paris and New York, this mix between Victor Hugo and Dos Passos, this mix between old and new things, myths and legends. Furthermore, drawings are fantastic.

Of course, we cannot forget police procedural drama TV series. CSI, NY is super but lately, I prefer Blue Bloods. Blue Bloods is a CBS police drama by Robin Green and Mitchell Burgess. The series follows the lives of the multigenerational Reagan family (Tom Selleck as Frank Reagan, Bridget Moynahan as Erin Reagan, Donnie Wahlberg as Danny Reagan) and their dedication to the New York City Police Department. Although a tight-knit family, the Reagans have very different ideas of how to gain justice. And their reflections are (in my opinion) the best point. I really like Blue Bloods!

My last choice would be Person of Interest, an American TV crime drama broadcasting on CBS and based on a screenplay developed by J. J. Abrams and Jonathan Nolan. The TV series revolves around a former CIA agent (Jim Caviezel) recruited by a mysterious millionaire (Michael Emerson) to prevent violent crimes in New York City with the help of a futurist computer. Very interesting!

An now, it’s your turn! Which are your favorite?

  • while i enjoy blue bloods, too [and love tom selleck], it is not my first choice – actually, i watch person of interest more – i’m intrigued with the geo orwell coming of age with big brother aspect – and i like the interchanges between the two male leads – plus the thing of “paying it forward” – i watched friends for years, like you – the good wife is a major favorite of mine which i’ve followed for some time – a taste of near-reality in the legal field of which i was a part all my professional life – for comedic relief, there is always the big bang theory which i love for laughs and it never fails –
