Samuel Morse invented the electric telegraph in 1938
Today’s anniversary: the 6th of January of 1838 Samuel Morse and his assistant Alfred Vail successfully tested the telegraph in New Jersey.
Actually, in this world collapsed by twitters, mobiles and new communications it’s good to remember the beginning of everything: those times when clever people had smart ideas that changes the world. And, of course, the electric telegraph invented by Samuel Morse was one of these ideas. Basically, an electric telegraph is a telegraph that uses electrical signal, usually conveyed via telecommunication lines or radio.
I think I am not alone when I say that I feel nostalgia of those times of invention and new ideas. Today, we have a different world with new machines every day, a new changing world that could be designed by Julius Verne, a new changing world that redesign itself every year. In this 2013, we would like to remember these fathers of the inventions. Without them, this world would be very different and… I love this world.
Thanks to Samuel Morse and thank you, Yareah readers. Keep on creating! You are, simply, the best!
