Recently, Sam Gordon, a foot player, is being famous for a video that shows some fairly hard hits for a so young girl.

Sam Gordon (Samantha Gordon) is a 9-year-old girl, who plays in a mostly all-boys tackle football league in the Salt Lake City area (Utah). Sam Gordon is a tough little girl who is becoming famous worldwide due to a video, uploaded by her own father, Brent, to YouTube and which has been viewed almost 2 million times. Sam Gordon is another girl who has become famous too young and as it happened with other child prodigies, she is suffering too many commentaries and critics. How will Sam Gordon assimilate all this? You never know. Michael Jackson always complained about his childhood, same Elisabeth Taylor…, maybe it is not so good to be so celebrated at 9…, maybe it is better to spend your childhood in peace.

Now, her father has removed the video from You Tube due to the critics, but other users have shared the video and… well, you know, it’s difficult to stop this kind of things.

“I wasn’t really sure what kind of response people would have,” Brent said. “I thought it was impressive and it appears that other people enjoy watching her as well.”

Playing with boys is fine for girls in a time of sexual equality. But this 9-year-old small girl, who weighs under 60 pounds, is playing against much bigger and stronger boys, as the video clearly showed it. Then, perhaps it’s fair to ask whether tackle football is right for such young little girls and, at the same time, the convenience of being adult before time.

Sam Gordon (Sweet Feet) is now a phenomenon. Everybody likes to have a famous child, but maybe the child is not prepared for this fame.

this is an awful article that is all over the place and has no concise theme. For one, you should spell check and not say ‘his father’ as Sam is clearly a girl, a point you make later when you criticise her saying she is too small to play in the league she chooses when according the video evidence, she is much better than the boys.
Secondly if you are going to complain about a child becoming too famous and not being able to deal with critics and criticism, citing these as a cause of problems in later life….don’t then criticise her. Immoral, irresponsible and hypocritical.
