Can anything be better than waking up with one of the best and touching pieces in the History of the Music? Today, the intermezzo of Cavalleria Rustiana by Pietro Mascagni conducted by Herbert von Karajan.
Mr. Karajan was an Austrian orchestra and opera conductor, perhaps the most famous in the 20thcentury. I have notice than classical music lovers don’t love very much this conductor, but in my modest opinion, he has provided a modern touch t
o classical music and this new point of view of his playing has influenced in many other conductors.
Born on the 5th of April of 1908, Karajan was a child he was a prodigy at the piano. Just one more note: he is the top-selling classical music recording artist of all time. 200 million sold. Not bad.
Have a great day, my friends!
