It’s possible that Warner Bros was planning a second part of Casablanca (Casablanca sequel), the mythical movie casting by Humphrey Bogart and Ingrid Bergman and directed by Michael Curtiz in 1942. Perfect! What are Yareah magazine suggestions?

Casablanca is a romantic drama film which has been celebrated by our fathers and grandfathers’ generations. However, young people is now unable to appreciate is fantastic plot, rhythm, and performances… ‘It’s a black and white film. It’s boring,’ they claim usually.

Then, it would be a good idea a Casablanca Sequel (never a remake) and to update its romantic idea to young generations.

According to Huffington Post, the deceased screenwriter of the old movie, Howard Koch, had a continuation for Curtiz’ movie:

The Second War World has finished. Elsa (Ingrid Bergman in the old film) has helped her Czech husband to escape from Nazis. But Elsa is sad because she had to leave Rick (Bogart in the old film), the love of her life, and to take care of her good dull husband. Now, they are in Europe, far of the exotic Casablanca, far of Morocco and Rick’s pub. Elsa discovers she is pregnant. Of course, the father is not the husband but Rick, her Rick. What Elsa will do?

Casablanca has been one of the most famous movies of every time. Everybody likes a Casablanca sequel. However, who will be the casting in the new film? Who the director? And above all, who will compose a new son which can overcome ‘As Time Goes By.’

A great challenge. It’s not easy to face Bogart or Bergman, Curtiz or a composer as Herman Hupfeld. It’s not easy but if the new team is able of moving new people, the success is sure and we will have a awesome Casablanca Sequel.

We are waiting for it!

Yareah magazine suggestions for Casablanca Sequel:

Rick: James Franco (so handsome and sexy as Bogart)

Elsa: Scarlett Johansson ( sweet and young. She can create a similar atmosphere to Ingrid Bergman).

Composer: Lady Gaga  (we need a touch of originality).

How are yours?
