Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart share a kiss. It’s romantic, it’s great and I really love these people.
As you know, I’ve studied journalism. I had a teacher that said ‘romance section might be studied in Journalism’. There wasn’t still internet times and there was still a little chance to serious journalism –and I’m not the only who thinks the same about this, take a look to Gay Talese, for example-. Now, it’s the world of visits and the internet war to have the best –and sometimes, ridiculous- front page… and this kind of ‘celebrities’ are becoming more and more popular every day… and, of course, they know it.
If you take a look to the internet media, it is collapsed by these news, and Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart know it. It’s supposed that she went with the director of her last film and Robert was angry and… we can read this kind of news everywhere, not only in USA. But I ask myself: is there any space for a little more interesting news? I am the editor of a magazine and I must confess something: every time we publish a ridiculous story about one of these ‘celebrities’ the visits goes up and up and up… and when we talk about Schopenhauer or James Joyce there are ten, maybe twenty, people interested in them. I know, of course, that Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart are much more interesting than Ulysses (?!’?!!!’’’!???) or the Odyssey but, of course, the media might survive without this kind of news.
But… well, how to say it? Thinking on the Odyssey: the plot of the Odyssey is about a kidnapping. Yes, she is a princess and we are in a war but, from the beginning we are talking about a very human feeling: love. Yes, I know that the kiss between Robert Pattinson and Kristen Stewart is not the best story I’ve never listen to but… who cares? They are now as happy as the first day and, overall, they are on fire again.
Congratulations, happy couple. You have the audience, you have the power. It’s a pity that nobody is interested in Mr. Joyce for more.
Have a great romantic and ironic day!
