Did you know that Louisiana is the third largest industry in the U.S.? I neither, sorry. But Louisiana has something either NYC or LA cannot compete!
Today I was reading about Shreveport, a town in the North-West of Louisiana. It has lovely places and a fantastic river called Red River. Wow, what landscapes! The town was founded in 1836 and its mayor is Cedric Glover. Do you want more curious things about Shreveport? Well, it has an elevation of 144 feet and… Well, Shreveport is not the biggest town in the United States, in fact it’s the 109th, with a population of 200.000 souls (sorry for the joke, but I cannot swear that all the 200.000 people have soul)… and one of these souls is named Jenean C. Gilstrap and -die of envy New York- Jenean C. Gilstrap is going to begin a new column on Yareah Magazine tomorrow!
Jenean has published several times in Yareah. She is a good writer, poet and more… but, overall, she is a great person and we are proud to include her in the contents of Yareah Magazine. I am excited to read her. What has she prepared for us? (well, I’m the editor, I’ve read it before, of course). Tomorrow we will present you the column with some words from her. We are now designing her space -and, of course, she will be emphasized as she deserves-.
I would like to say thanks to her again, this time in public. We are proud to have you here and, of course, you’re welcome and everybody is waiting for reading your writings –even Jack, but now he is reading Kant to discuss tonight-.
Every Sunday, Gypsy Woman World by Jenean C. Gilstrap in Yareah Magazine!
I.N: Oh, no, Jack has finished Critique of Pure Reason! I’m dead!
