Exhibition Los Angeles. The Downtown Art Centers (DAC) will open this Thursday 13th the exhibition Line by Line, a group exhibition exclusively featuring print-based works.
In words of the gallery: “Employing lithographs, monoprints, etchings, and silk screens, each exhibiting artist uses the unique quality of their chosen practice to reflect upon issues of self-perception and a longing to belong. Whether they are responding to the one of a kind quality of a monoprint, the meticulous nature of an etching, the layered complexity of a screen print, or painterly quality of a lithograph, each methodology functions as a technical mirror to the ideas of what it means to be a part of a community”.
We will be able to enjoy the exhibition since the 13th of September, Thrusday, until the 4th of October. The DAC Gallery will be open from 1 – 8pm during the September Downtown Artwalk.
YM will make a special effort, publishing a review of the exhibition after its opening and many news about the artists featured in this exhibition. Keep in touch!

The aim of every artist is to arrest motion, which is life, by artificial means and hold it fixed so that a hundred years later, when a stranger looks at it, it moves again since it is life.
