Cerveira Creative Camp

Cerveira Creative Camp

Cerveira Creative Camp is an original concept created by “Canal 180” which will join in Vila Nova de  Cerveira (North Portugal) 120 young creators (divided in different teams) from different artistic fields for two weeks of video creation, urban intervention, masterclasses, workshops and talks with some of the most innovative creators from areas such as film, music, video, architecture, new media, advertising, installation and urban art.

It will take place from the 8th to 22nd of July 2012 in Vila Nova de Cerveira,  North of Portugal.

During two weeks of July, Vila Nova de Cerveira will be full of students and young professionals from different creative fields.

The entire activity of the Creative Camp will be followed by the TV operation of Canal 180 and students will be producing daily content for the Channel.

Canal 180 ( officially became the first open-source TVchannel in the world. It’s also the first TV channel about culture and creativity in Portugal.

Value and quality are the watchwords for the channel. Its high-tech emission software and the exclusive use of Apple Inc. technology turns Canal180 into one of the cheapest TV channels in the world

The main goal of Canal180 is to develop, broadcast and promote a wider spectrum of cultural activity. A major concern is to advertise both national and international hidden talent, showing that culture also emerges outside the mainstream circuit. Thus, the channel promotes the new generation of multi platform content creation.
